Day 1: Departure from Jaisalmer – Camel Safari & Sunset in Remote Dunes
Your journey begins with a 2:00 PM pick-up from Jaisalmer. On the way to the desert, you’ll pass through small villages and fields, giving you glimpses of authentic Rajasthani life. Smiling children, mud houses, and herds of camels set the tone for your offbeat adventure.
By mid-afternoon, you’ll meet your camel and start a 1–1.5 hour camel safari into the golden dunes. The slow, rhythmic movement of the camel combined with the wide-open desert views creates an unforgettable feeling of peace.
As the day ends, you’ll reach a quiet sunset point far from the crowds. Watch the desert glow with changing colors as the sun dips below the horizon. This moment is often described as the highlight of the trip.
Dinner is prepared fresh on a campfire, using traditional Rajasthani recipes. You’ll then settle into your open-air desert camp, with mattresses and blankets laid out under the starry sky. Far from the city lights, the night sky here is dazzling — perfect for stargazing and night photography. Tents can also be provided if preferred.
Day 2: Sunrise over the Dunes – Breakfast & Return
Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the desert dunes, a breathtaking moment as the first rays of light paint the sand in golden hues. After sunrise, enjoy tea/coffee and a simple Rajasthani breakfast served in the camp.
After breakfast, you’ll enjoy another camel ride through the dunes, making your way back towards the village. The morning is calm, with soft winds and fewer people around, allowing you to fully connect with the desert’s silence.
On the way back to Jaisalmer, you can stop in small villages to interact with locals and learn more about desert life. You’ll reach the city by 11:00 AM, carrying with you the memory of two days spent in Rajasthan’s most peaceful landscapes.

It is a 2-day, 1-night tour starting at 2 PM on Day 1 and ending by 11 AM on Day 2.
The remote dunes are located about 40–50 km from Jaisalmer, away from the crowded Sam Dunes.
You will enjoy around 1–1.5 hours of camel riding on each day. If needed, shorter rides can be arranged.
You sleep in an open-air camp under the stars with proper mattresses and blankets. Tents are available if you prefer.
Day 1: Traditional Rajasthani vegetarian dinner (freshly cooked on campfire).
Day 2: Light breakfast with tea/coffee.
